Manager Finance Business Partnering & Development (12 months Fixed Term – Parental Leave)

To cover a parental leave absence, Te Papa is seeking to employ a fixed term Manager for our Finance Business Partnering & Development team. Leading a team of two, you'll work in a matrix-like way with key members of the Finance team to deliver Finance Business Partnering and Finance Systems services.

This is a hands-on role, and ideally candidates will be able to hit the ground running and have a demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively with others to achieve overall team goals and deadlines.

Applicants will have:

• The ability to lead a small team to achieve organisation-focussed outcomes
• A proven track record of providing outstanding support and advice in a financial environment
• The technical know-how to lead and develop financial modelling, budgeting and financial elements of business planning processes
• The ability to work with a wide range of people and to understand wide ranging business functions
• A can-do approach and an open mind to working for the benefit of all
• Excellent time management skills and experience in dealing with competing demands
• A relevant professional qualification and/or experience

An indication of the appointment salary range for this role is $120k to $140k per annum, and a final offer will be made to reflect the skills and experience offered by the candidate and those required of the role, and internal relativities with other employees.
